InteleNet offers a Managed Firewall service that utilizes a variety
of industry leading firewalls. InteleNet manages all aspects of
the firewall configuration and operation, ensuring the highest security
possible. This service may be configured in various failover modes,
for added reliability and security. Under the standard service,
customers may request firewall rule-set re-configurations, up to
a set maximum number of requests per month.
Network Based IDS
InteleNet offers an easy, cost-effective way to protect your network
from attacks. Our network security management and monitoring service
provides two elements critical to successful network security management:
advanced network based intrusion detection technologies to detect
suspicious network activity, and certified security professionals
to interpret the activity and take steps to protect your network
from attack.
Critical OS Security Patching
InteleNet offers an enhanced service to provide OS security patching
to our customers. With so many OS security patches, hot-fixes and
service packs coming out weekly, keeping up to date is a time consuming
and often overlooked aspect of running a server. A server that is
not up to date with the latest security patches is one of the most
common causes behind successful hacking attempts. This service takes
the headache out of patching your operating system. Checks for new
patches are conducted daily and any updates are installed within
5 business days of its release.
Managed VPN Access
InteleNet offers a Managed Virtual Private Network (VPN) Service
that manages client authorization and access control for customers
that require a secure, cost-effective method for remote access to
critical online information. The Managed VPN Service provides customers
with encrypted site-to-site and remote access for Internet-based
network computing environments, while alleviating the time, expense
and personnel commitments associated with designing, configuring,
maintaining and monitoring a VPN solution.
Managed
Virus Protection
InteleNet offers a Managed Virus Protection Service that provides
antivirus technologies for customer environments. There are two
options that can be configured separately: a virus filtering gateway
service and server based virus protection service. The virus filtering
gateway stops viruses before entering the customer environment.
The server based virus protection detects and quarantines viruses
that are placed on the server via local floppy or CD drives. Combining
the two services provides maximum virus protection to the customer
environment.
