WITH EQUALLOGIC iSCSI STORAGE SOLUTION

on EqualLogic's PS Family of Storage Arrays

EqualLogic's PS Series arrays are supporting a number of hosted services allowing InteleNet to react to customer requirements by offering computing resources on demand.

InteleNet's primary service center for its worldwide customer base is its state-of-the-art 55,000 square foot data center located in Irvine, California. In addition to its core customer base of small- and medium-size enterprise customers, InteleNet has been the provider of choice for several Fortune 500 organizations, managing worldwide networks, complex e-commerce platforms and financial/ERP systems. InteleNet chose the EqualLogic PS Series arrays for their modular flexibility, enterprise reliability and built-in data protection capabilities, such as snapshots and replication, to provide the storage for its managed server platforms.

The EqualLogic SAN replaced expensive and difficult to manage direct attached storage for InteleNet's managed server platforms, allowing InteleNet to migrate to diskless servers that boot directly from the SAN. Now InteleNet's managed server customers with the SAN solution can deploy new applications, provision new servers and expand storage volumes on the fly. With EqualLogic's virtualized pool of storage, InteleNet can provide a utility computing model to its customers, which in the future will allow its customers to deploy additional servers and storage remotely.
