Join InteleNet Communications, a leading provider of on-demand managed hosting services, and play a critical role in our continued growth. The Network Engineer will be a part of the Network team in InteleNet’s Irvine, California data center. Under the direction of the Provisioning, IT and Support Manager, the Network Engineer: Participates in managing, implementing and maintaining the switching and routing infrastructure, the IP infrastructure, security systems, content management systems and monitoring systems The Network Engineer must maintain a broad knowledge of current and emerging state-of-the-art computer/network systems technologies, architectures, and products and deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. |

| Qualifications: | Experience on Internet based datacenter network infrastructure Knowledge of different CISCO routers, switches and network equipment Solid knowledge of different firewall systems; Knowledge of Internet based network security design, routing protocols including various types of dynamic routing (BGP, EIGRP, RIP, OSPF, etc.); Solid knowledge of datacenter network design and implementation Competency in some of the following: web load balancing, network monitoring, SSL acceleration, VPN infrastructure, etc. Exposure to WAN backbone, frame relay, and switching circuit In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP etc. Solid knowledge of SNMP and other network management protocols and systems Good knowledge of Windows/Unix/Linux operating systems related to network Excellent spoken and written communication and organization skills A "can do" attitude and a passion for excellent customer service Two to three years experience in datacenter environment or close equivalent |
| Education: | BS in a computing or engineering field, or equivalent preferred but not required. Network certification (or equivalent training/experience) preferred. |
